A new year means a few changes for us here at Lakeland Artisan and it is with a heavy heart that we close all of our shops.
Lancaster has already closed as its lease has come to an end and the remaining shops will all close on New Years Eve.
There is now a closing down sale in all 5 remaining shops with 25% off everything.
It is really sad to see the shops go and our team of amazing retail staff and I am so thankful to our customers too for sticking by us throughout the years.
The closures are a result of the disappearance of my wife earlier this year, who has not been seen or heard from since.
We built the shops together and it's just not the same without her by my side.
She is deeply missed by us all, she was my rock and my everything, there is just too much for me to cope with and keep juggling.
So, I'm returning to what I did in the very beginning and continuing to make our ranges of multi award-winning preserves, sauces, soft drinks, liqueurs and gin, from our production unit in Kendal.
I will of course still be trading online and producing wonderful artisan produce and may even have pop up shops in the future.
